Hammonds Speech & Language Services, LLC was started simply to provide great quality therapy to children and adults suffering from communication disorders. Helping people improve in the area of communication is our passion. Communication difficulties can affect a person self-esteem, confidence, and interpersonal relationships are affected. Hammonds Speech & Language Services will provide great quality care by using evidence based practices during therapy, as well as training and educating the family.

Johnetta Hammonds, M.Ed., CCC-SLP
Johnetta Hammonds has been practicing as a speech-language pathologists for six years. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with her bachelors degree and North Carolina Central University with her Masters for Communication Disorders. During the past six years, Johnetta has worked with clients in the public school system, skilled nursing facilities, and a rehabilitation hospital.
Johnetta's clients have ranged from 3 years of age to 105 years of age. Johnetta has worked with the following disorders in the school setting: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Articulation/Phonological Disorders, Autism, Fluency (Stuttering), Cerebrovascular Accidents (Strokes), CHARGE Syndrome, DiGeorge Syndrome, Intellectual Disabilities, Language Delay, Learning Disabilities, Noonan Syndrome, and Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI). Her adult clients suffered from Alzhiemer's Disease, Dementia, Cerebrovascular Accidents (Strokes), Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Oral Cancer, and brain tumors.
Johnetta started Hammonds Speech & Language Services, LLC with the goal to provide more in depth services to people suffering from communication disorders in the community.
